It was a privilege for us to create this plaque in memory; it has been hung outside their main entrance and reads ‘thank you for the memories’- here are some photos of what it looks like in its final location…
“We contacted Brunel Engraving after a last-minute decision to create a commemorative plaque for the closure of Bristol Zoo Gardens. From the offset the team were super helpful in ensuring we could get the plaque made on time. They understood the tight turnaround required and delivered exceptional customer care. The completed product looked fantastic. Thank you Brunel Engraving for your service and for the first-class customer experience.”
From Lucy McCormick at Bristol Zoo.
Bristol Zoo was the fifth oldest Zoo in the world and holds lots of great memories for the millions of people who visited it (90 million since it first opened)! so its closure is emotional. However, not all is lost, work will begin to create a new Bristol Zoo at the Wild Place Project only a few miles away.
