When Clevedon Cars & Coffee set out to create a monument to a 127-year-old Stephens prototype motorcar, they needed craftsmanship that could match the car’s heritage. The team approached Brunel Engraving to produce key elements for the tribute: a brass plate representing the car’s original branding and two stainless steel sponsorship plaques to honour those who supported the project.
The brass plate was carefully engraved to replicate the style of the original, recreated from photographs to ensure authenticity.

Alongside this, we engraved two large stainless steel sponsorship plaques, mounted on a lectern at the monument site, featuring the names of all those who contributed to the project. Both pieces were designed to last for years, ensuring the Stephens story can be celebrated for future generations.

The Brunel Engraving team approaches every challenge with creativity and precision, even if the request is completely outside their usual work. Whatever the design or fabrication need, they adapted their technology to produce exactly what we required.
