Description
When we want to honour a specific event or occasion it can be very difficult to think of a lasting way. Celebrate the occasion with our traditional Stainless Steel Commemorative Tree Plaques which are perfect for these situations.
Stainless Steel Plaques offer a more modern appearance than brass. They are supplied with a dull polished (brushed) finish in a 316 grade material which is suitable for submerging in salt water. We use 1.5mm thick material with clean cut, straight edges (other thicknesses are available). Ideally suited for exterior use but in contrast to brass it will not tarnish. The text is often filled black to give a prestigious contrast to the Stainless Steel, however other colours can be requested.
Our Stainless Steel Tree Plaques are supplied complete with 4 x fixing holes and screws and a Tricoya wood base of your choice which is suitable for mounting to a stake (stake not included)
Our Tricoya bases, from FSC Certified sustainable forests, are supplied in either light or dark mahogany or light oak finishes. All bases are supplied with a 45° bevelled edge.
Tricoya wood excels in outdoor environments and its durability is class 1 (under EN350-2) which is classed as more durable than Oak. For more information about Tricoya please see our information sheet.
Logo’s, borders and a metal stake can all be added to enhance your Commemorative plaque. The standard border incorporates scalloped corners which surround and highlight the screws.
We offer two sizes of metal ground stakes (depending on the plaque size) which are available to order at additional cost or you can choose to supply your own. please select the metal stake option during the ordering process. Please visit our Accessories category for our stake sizes & specifications
When receiving your tree plaque it will arrive fixed by screws to the Tricoya base. Larger plaques (from 8" x 6") are supplied with domed covers to the screws.
Fitting, remove the nameplate from the base. Drill the wooden base in a suitable position to line up with the top of the stake or stakes. Screw the base to the stake using a minimum of two screws and refit the nameplate to the base. There may be a requirement for two stakes for the larger size plaque.
Fixing
Stainless Steel commemorative tree plaques are supplied fixed to a Tricoya wood base of your choice, using 4 x stainless steel screws. Sizes 200 x 150mm and above are supplied with brass screws and satin silver domed cover caps.
Suitable screws are also included for customers who purchase the optional ground stake,fixing holes are not pre dilled this allows the fixing to be to your specification.

Product Care
Our stainless steel plaques are manufactured from 316 (marine) grade.
This Stainless Steel is an extremely durable material that is resistant to scratching, it will not tarnish or rust and requires minimal maintenance.
A wipe from time to time with a clean damp cloth should be sufficient however for more stubborn stains we recommend Peek, a metal polish that will restore and maintain your plaques appearance.

Delivery Schedule: Receive Your Order Within 3-5 Working Days
Brunel Engraving maufacture all items to bespoke requirements and we endeavor to despatch all orders within 3-5 working days from date of order or artwork approval.
For more urgent orders you may request a specified date and select our "Fast Track" service, to receive your order within 1-3 working days from date of order or artwork approval.
If you need your items by a specified date, please enter this information in the ‘Special Requirements / Additional Comments / Requested Date’ box found at the bottom of the ordering process on all product pages.
Dispatch:
We dispatch all orders via Parcelforce on a next working day service and all items can be tracked online. We dispatch to UK mainland, Isle of Man, Highlands & Islands, Channel Islands & Northern Ireland.
For orders over the value of £300 we offer a free delivery to UK Mainland addresses.
For AM delivery services, additional insurance requests and deliveries outside of these zones, please contact the sales team for a personalised quotation.
You may also collect your order from our premises which are located at BS21 6QH. Our reception is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

I'm very pleased with my choice to use this for planting outdoors. The website is very good to show the various options available, of both plaque and its surround. The plaque itself is a reasonable price and good quality, too. Note that prices are ex VAT. I also paid extra for components for fixing in the ground.

Attractive and high quality plaque, and very durable (as we know from previous purchases). The on-line design system is excellent. They do seem very expensive, but I think are superior to other products.
