Description
Cast Acrylic House Signs are available in gold, silver or white effect finish material, that is a less expensive alternative to brass or aluminium. Supplied in 3mm thickness complete with bevelled edges. All text is printed or engraved on the reverse and then filled with a contrasting colour. This will give a smooth front face making it easy to clean.
Unlike other nameplates in this sector this product is ideal when full colour images are required.
Ideally suited for either interior or exterior use it is a durable material that will not need regular cleaning. Just wipe your sign with a damp cloth occasionally to maintain its appearance.
Logo’s, borders and Tricoya wood backing boards can all be added to enhance your nameplate. Borders, the standard border incorporates scalloped corners which surround and highlight the screws.
Our Tricoya bases, from FSC Certified sustainable forests, are supplied in either light or dark mahogany or light oak finishes. All bases are supplied with a 45° bevelled edge.
Tricoya wood excels in outdoor environments and its durability is class 1 (under EN350-2) which is classed as more durable than Oak. For more information about Tricoya please see our information sheet.
Nameplate Fixings, either screws or self adhesive, are supplied with all nameplates when requested. Larger nameplates (from 8" x 6") are supplied with domed or flat covers to the screws, however we do not recommend self adhesive for sizes above 8” x 6” or where full colour images or graphics have been requested.
Wooden base fixings, screws and universal wall plugs are supplied with all Tricoya bases. We recommend a using a minimum of three fixings to avoid warping.
When ordering a sign with a wooden base the nameplate will be supplied fixed to the base. The nameplate will need to be removed from the base prior to fitting.

Exceptional work by genuine professionals
Brunel Engraving inscribed the heraldic crest and dedication for the Bristol Blue Glass Captain’s Decanter Award, presented by the Bristol Maritime Trade Association and awarded by the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers. The Brunel team were so helpful and efficient through out, producing a stunning piece of work to mark a very significant occasion. As a graphic designer, I really appreciated Brunel’s fine typography, laid out on quite a complicated form. I was also very interested by the engraving and silver infill process, and was thrilled when Brunel gave me digital images of the whole project. The Brunel team were so friendly, so professional, and absolutely went above and beyond to produce an exceptional piece in celebration of a life time’s achievement in shipping.
