Description
All our stainless steel house signs & nameplates are deep engraved and infilled with a contrasting paint colour to leave a long lasting and durable number/letter, this provides a clear advantage over printed or vinyl products that may peel away in time.
A more modern material than brass. Our Stainless Steel House Signs are supplied with a dull polished (brushed) finish in a 316 grade material, 1.5mm thick with clean cut, straight edges (other thicknesses are available). These house plates will not rust or tarnish and require very little maintenance / cleaning even when exposed to rain water.
For the smaller square sizes, we recommend only a house number to be engraved, for the larger sizes, house names and numbers can easily be accommodated.
Logo’s, borders and Tricoya wood backing boards can all be added to enhance your nameplate. NB A scalloped border will surround and highlight the screws.
We recommend that all nameplates are fixed via screws, suitable screws and domed caps will be supplied with your nameplate. If you prefer nameplates can be supplied without fixings.
Our Tricoya bases, from FSC Certified sustainable forests, are supplied in either light or dark mahogany or light oak finishes. All bases are supplied with a 45° bevelled edge.
Tricoya wood excels in outdoor environments and its durability is class 1 (under EN350-2) which is classed as more durable than Oak. For more information about Tricoya please see our information sheet.
Wooden base fixings, screws and universal wall plugs are supplied with all Tricoya bases. We recommend a using a minimum of three fixings to avoid warping.
When ordering a sign with a wooden base the nameplate will be supplied fixed to the base. The nameplate will need to be removed from the base prior to fitting.
Fixing
Stainless Steel House Signs can be supplied with screws or without fixings.
Screw Fixings:- Plaques are supplied with 4 x fixing holes and screws. Sizes 200 x 150mm and above are supplied with domed cover caps. View a video tutorial on how to fit your plaque.
When ordering a nameplate with screw fixings and Tricoya base, the nameplate will be supplied fixed to the base. View a video tutorial on how to fit your plaque and base.
Wooden base fixings:- screws and universal wall plugs are supplied with all Tricoya bases. NB Bases are not supplied with fixing holes. A guide is available for additional fitting instructions.
Product Care
Our stainless steel plaques are manufactured from 316 (marine) grade.
This Stainless Steel is an extremely durable material that is resistant to scratching, it will not tarnish or rust and requires minimal maintenance.
A wipe from time to time with a clean damp cloth should be sufficient however for more stubborn stains we recommend Peek, a metal polish that will restore and maintain your plaques appearance.

Delivery
Delivery Schedule: Receive Your Order Within 3-5 Working Days
Brunel Engraving maufacture all items to bespoke requirements and we endeavor to despatch all orders within 3-5 working days from date of order or artwork approval.
For more urgent orders you may request a specified date and select our "Fast Track" service, to receive your order within 1-3 working days from date of order or artwork approval.
If you need your items by a specified date, please enter this information in the ‘Special Requirements / Additional Comments / Requested Date’ box found at the bottom of the ordering process on all product pages.
Dispatch:
We dispatch all orders via Parcelforce on a next working day service and all items can be tracked online. We dispatch to UK mainland, Isle of Man, Highlands & Islands, Channel Islands & Northern Ireland.
For orders over the value of £300 we offer a free delivery to UK Mainland addresses.
For AM delivery services, additional insurance requests and deliveries outside of these zones, please contact the sales team for a personalised quotation.
You may also collect your order from our premises which are located at BS21 6QH. Our reception is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

I must say, the family are very happy with the quality of the plaque we ordered. We wanted the family crest along with the wording and are very happy with how it came out.
